To further clarify, a team (that is trailing by any amount) may play full court person-to- person defense in order to reduce their current deficit.
SPECIAL NOTE (For Grade 6 Girls Divisions only), person-to-person full court press is only allowed in the last two-minutes of each half provided the team is not already leading by 10 or more points.
SPECIAL NOTE (ALL DIVISIONS): If coaches of each team wish to waive the right to execute full court, person-to-person defense for the entire game, this can be agreed to by each team, as long as the referees are made aware of this agreement prior to the game start, and all parties acknowledge the agreement.

Each player will only play for one (1) team in the tournament. If a team needs to make a roster change, the tournament director should approve in writing of the change prior to the player being added to a team. Late roster changes approved in writing by the Director will not be posted in the tourney program. The sole purpose of the tourney program is to provide players and families a keepsake. Although the majority of roster submissions are accurately listed in the program, it is not to be used by coaches as a means to identify improperly registered players.
16.Divisions: Teams will be assigned to either a 4-team division, or a 6-team division.
17.For teams involved in an overtime game, high school rules apply for carryover of team fouls into an overtime period.
FOUR TEAM DIVISIONS
In 4-team divisions, each team will play each division member one time, for a total of (3) three games. The team with the best record is the champion. In the event two teams are tied with 2-1 records after the playing their three games, the winner of head-to-head competition will act as the tie-breaker and determine the overall division champion. Trophies will be awarded for only the 1st place finisher in 4-team divisions.
SIX TEAM DIVISIONS (Two 3-team sub-brackets)
In each 6-team division, there are six (6) teams, which will play in two (2) sub-brackets, of three (3) teams each. Each team will play each other team in its sub-bracket during the first round (first two games).
After the first round (first two games), teams will be matched, based on their records, in playoff games, with corresponding teams from the opposite sub-bracket. The two teams with the best record in each sub-bracket will play each other (championship playoff). The two teams with the second best record in each sub-bracket will play each other (2nd place playoff) and the two teams with the third best record in each sub- bracket will play each other (3rd place playoff).
Trophies will be awarded for both 1st place and runner-up teams in the 6-team divisions.
TIE BREAKER RULES FOR THREE TEAM SUB-BRACKETS If all teams in a 3-team sub-bracket are tied with 1-1 records after the first two games, a separate tie-breaker time slot will be assigned and tied teams will participate in a tie- breaker session. The following tie-breaker format and special rules will be used:

b. The remaining two teams will play a five (5) minute tiebreaker. The team receiving the bye will play the winner.
c. If the score is tied after the first five (5) minute tiebreaker, additional TWO minute overtime periods will be played until a winner is determined.

Winner of first tie-breaker plays “short straw” team in another 5 min. tie-breaker. Loser of 2nd tie-breaker plays for 3rd place, winner plays for championship.
